During the March 20, 2024 meeting, the Alabama 9-1-1 Board approved awards to be granted to multiple applicants of Grant Cycle 9. The two key focuses in Grant Cycle 9 were addressing financial hardships for Emergency Communication Districts (ECDs) and maximizing efficiencies in PSAP operations. The determination for the awards was based on the content of the applications submitted and examination of available district financial information.
